Associate Practitioner Certification Track

  • Successfully complete all the requirements for in-person Gemstone Therapy associate practitioner certification.
  • Successfully complete all requirements for the course GDI 171 in order to learn the basics of giving safe, effective, and meaningful remote sessions.
  • Successfully completed the course GEM 305 in order to learn how to provide the Gemstone Therapy Level 1 protocols to clients in a remote setting.
  • Are able to give basic yet meaningful, in-person Gemstone Therapy sessions to others.
  • Can start a Gemstone Therapy practice or add Gemstone Therapy to an existing healing arts practice.
  • Are eligible to take Gemstone Therapy Level 2 courses and start Gemstone Therapy Practitioner training.

Note: Associate Practitioners receive a certificate, but not credentials, which are awarded only with successful completion of Level 2 training.

  • Complete the GEM Level 1 courses and become proficient in the applications taught in them.
  • Watch the #2 full Gemstone Therapy Session video on YouTube.
  • Participate in the monthly Gemstone Therapy Level 1 student conference calls where you can discuss your questions about Gemstone Therapy with your peers and mentors.
  • Per your study guides, practice each Level 1 Protocol at least three times, for a total of at least 20 Gemstone Therapy sessions. Be sure to give sessions to at least 5 different people, two of whom may be pets.
  • Record notes on the Level 1 Practice Session Forms, and submit at least 5 of these Practice Session forms to your Gemstone Therapy Institute mentor for review and feedback.
  • Discuss your Practice Session Forms with your mentor.
  • Get Volunteer Feedback forms from at least 4 of those people and submit copies to your mentor.
  • Identify the thirty Level 1 gemstones and describe three characteristics of each as presented in GEM 113.
  • Perform a Level 1 Gemstone Therapy session for the proficiency portion of the Level 1 exam. Video record this session and submit to your mentor, perform it in person with your mentor observing, or perform it live via webcam.
  • Receive an evaluation of your Gemstone Therapy proficiency exam and discussed it with your mentor.
  • Complete the Level 1 Take Home Examination, and email the completed exam to your mentor.
  • During a coaching session with your Gemstone Therapy mentor, either in person or by phone, discuss your plans for Level 2 Training, if any, and any difficulties or challenges you may face in attaining that goal.
  • Submit all the necessary documentation for Associate Practitioner certification to your mentor and cc education@gemformulas.com.

Learning Outcomes

Our Level 1 training is designed to help you gain the following:

Knowledge to:
  • Understand and explain the purpose of each of the 10 steps of the Gemstone Therapy Session Protocol.
  • Identify 30 different healing gemstones and understand the indications of each.
  • Perform and interpret the meaning of the 27 archetypical movements that gemstones make in the aura.
  • Understand the ethics involved in a Gemstone Therapy practice.
  • Perform all 10 steps of the Gemstone Therapy Session Protocol both for oneself and for others.
  • Balance all body processes by working with the Foundation Five gemstones.
  • Deeply and thoroughly clear the aura, and perform unwanted energy extractions.
  • Nourish the layers of the aura, including the supraphysical, emotional, causal, mental, and intuitive, with the appropriate therapeutic gemstones.
  • Build custom gemandalas (gemstone mandalas) to provide unique energy work tailored to your own or another’s needs.
  • Perform an effective integration so that a client leaves a session thinking clearly and fully present in their body.
  • Effectively cleanse gemstones of the energies picked up during a session or from daily wearing. Includes how to test if gemstones need clearing and if a clearing is completed.
  • Palpate the layers of your own aura and that of others.
  • Clearly sense a pull-in, push-away, and energy cushion.
  • Energetically locate a target area for treatment.
  • Be able to follow the movements that a person’s energy field initiates to move gemstones in the aura.
  • Maintain control of the therapy rod or therapy wand at all times.
  • Safely apply gemstones in the aura.
